My window stopped working riverside. It moves slightly up and down but that's it. Any ideas? Anyone know where I can get a wiring diagram for window switch? 02 denali yukon xl.

Could also be your regulator, or the steel cables. Happened to me. My ps cable started to unravel, so the window would only move a 1/4 of the way.

What Tony said. If you’re getting power to the motor, the switch is working. Pull your door panel off and get inside there and see what’s going on

Ok opened it up and it looks like the cable is torn and twisted into the pulley thing. Is there anyway to manually release the window?

Same exact thing happened to mine. I just replaced the whole thing. Cheap enough to do--and pretty easy. Don't go too cheap on the parts tho, you usually get what you pay for.

It's been about 4-5 yrs since I've had to mess with it. Think the whole deal is called a window regulator. Not sure how to just release the window, but when you're replacing it you need to tape the glass to the window frame so it doesn't fall down--and it holds it in place, out of your way. I suggest to youtube it, just to get an idea of what you'll need to do. It's super easy, so no need to worry too much. Total time--dragging your feet--is 45 mins to 1 hr total time.
