Just want to ask about the reliability about this vehicle? They want $7500 with 130,000 miles they say they have gave it oil changes every 3,000 miles it says it's a police addition and has the light outside the window like police.my last couple vehicles have failed me and I want something that will be reliable and last me a while.what are some problems that often occur with these SUVs?is it a reliable vehicle or what else can people recommend me to buy for a larger or larger enough family of four vehicle, that will be reliable and last us a while?

2010 Yukon, police 'addition'? No such thing from GM OE. Fishy.
'They say', 'it says' ... what does it SHOW? What's the VIN?
No such thing as a Yukon Police Pursuit or Special Service Vehicle, only Tahoe PPV or SSV.
Did you see ANY pics, or is this just word of mouth?
The pics they don't show are where you go looking for problems.

At 130,000 miles, expect several secondary and tertiary features to need repairs / replacement.
Has the transmission been rebuilt yet? If not, you will be rebuilding it soon, several thousand dollars.
If V4 mode (AFM / Engine Half@$$) has not yet been disabled, even if you disable it ASAP, there may be problems down the road.

If V4 mode has been disabled, I'd be more enthusiastic about it.

I would recommend getting a pre-purchase inspection by a trusted independent shop, as well as any documentation of the maintenance. Also check CARFAX for accidents, odometer discrepancies, etc.
My 2012 Yukon SLE HAS 139K miles on it. Its value is $6K. Also, previous police vehicles have usually been handled pretty rough. I would have a trusted mechanic go over it with a fine tooth comb, plus a CARFAX report is always a good idea and fine investment. That being said…I wouldn’t pay over $3K for it. And that’s only if it’s in really good condition.

definitely need pics of the yukon ex police car. officially i do believe only the Tahoes was used by the cops. but maybe it was a security officer type if thing. I see all kinds of vehicles around here with constable on the side of them done up at police cars. I don't honestly even know what a constable is. some tx thing I guess haha.

anything is possible.

are you a diy mechanic at all?

$3K? that's funny. $3K might buy a rusted-out 2000 2wd tahoe with a destroyed interior. I do agree with all else you said.
