So i have an 03 Tahoe, currently w/ stock Escalade 18s but getting 22s or 24s soon, and i'm looking to lower my truck but need some ideas.

I just put Eibach rear springs about a month ago and turned the torsion bars but i'm not happy with where it sits (still to high for mmy preference)

Now what do you guys recommend to do to go lower? I only have a couple hundred to spend so what is the best balance between economical, looks, and ride quality? If i get 5" lowering springs do i need new shocks? how should i go about lowering the front? I see alot of trucks with a 3/5 drop that look nice but what exactly will i need to buy?

This thread has a lot of setups and the components people used. Check it out and ask accordingly. First figure out what fender to ground measurements you want, then go from there. That's the best advice I can give as it will really help you figure out what you can do on your budget.

Don't know your wheel/tire size, but you'll def need spindles or LCAs and stock keys cranked, some type of 5" drop spring w/ the free travel mod and axle relocation kit and shorter shocks all around. Personally, i like my spindle/key setup, but a lot of people like the LCAs too. The TB coils will get you the height you're looking for out back as well. Get with Tony(NorcalSS) on pricing, I'll say this, it will run you more than a couple hundred if you're looking to purchase everything new.

Anybody know how low the front end goes just by cranking the stock keys all the way? If so, how much would the rear need to be lowered to be even?

How low could i go with out terribly affecting ride quality/alignment... how low could i go with out any regard to those... its more of just a temporary idea cuz i got some court things i need to take care of first

I was hoping to do rear springs first and then spindles in about a month

well in front 2 inch keys many times dont align and you need to get camber bushings which adds even more to the cost.

Honestly if your going to do it right do it just one time. Get the court things taken care of and then hollar back. Id hate for you to spend money just to be upset with the ride.

if you want belltech has a rear kit
3-4 inches adjustable
shock extenders
its $250 shipped
then in front if you wanted you can do 2 inch drop keys for $95 shipped but i would also get the belltech alignment bushigns for $75 shipped

Listen to this man. The bushings alone are worth their weight in gold if you go low.
