I just purchased a 2017 Tahoe LS, I have added fog lights mechanically, but I want to figure out how to make the BCM handle these as factory electrically.

Is an LT the lowest factory trim level to get fogs? I am comparing the BCM segment ID's from a vin on Ebay and I see a few differences. Other than controlling fog lights, does anybody know what else is different on a LS vs LT for BCM programming for the lighting controls?

It appears the Instrument cluster is different. so if I can't get the bcm to be programmed with an LT lighting segment, i want to see if I can send the same CAN message to turn on the fog indicator if I end up building a custom module to control the lights.

Can somebody with a factory fog LT truck, take a picture of the fuse box cover and fuses? my fuse box does not have the relay marked for the fog lights, but i am not sure if that is just a labeling issue or if the fuse boxes are electrically different.

Thanks, I have found that information with the gm service info.

The KR46 is what i am interested in seeing an image. I have found the fuse at #94

For the KR46, it appears to be a 3 slot, which could be a relay, but i've never seen a 3 slot relay, they're usually 4 terminals.

edit, found a vin for a T3U (RPO for front fogs) LT, with a different manual exterior light segment.

Thanks

Ryan

Rearfogs are an option for export, the relay to control these are in the inside fuse box next to the drivers door. The wiring is already there from the fog switch to the bcm.

yes, I have seen that. I want to make it work as factory if possible without splicing. If it is not possible, then I will do something similar to that thread. I have gm module programming and reverse engineering experience so it is worth researching and or building a device to make this more plug and play.

Anybody have a 2wd vin for a 17 LT with fogs. Trying it identify different segments from my truck. All of the vins I've found are 4wd on LT with fogs.

Try cars.com and a zip code in Florida like 32730. Should be 2 wheel drive.
