I just purchased a 2017 Tahoe LS, I have added fog lights mechanically, but I want to figure out how to make the BCM handle these as factory electrically.
Is an LT the lowest factory trim level to get fogs? I am comparing the BCM segment ID's from a vin on Ebay and I see a few differences. Other than controlling fog lights, does anybody know what else is different on a LS vs LT for BCM programming for the lighting controls?
It appears the Instrument cluster is different. so if I can't get the bcm to be programmed with an LT lighting segment, i want to see if I can send the same CAN message to turn on the fog indicator if I end up building a custom module to control the lights.
Can somebody with a factory fog LT truck, take a picture of the fuse box cover and fuses? my fuse box does not have the relay marked for the fog lights, but i am not sure if that is just a labeling issue or if the fuse boxes are electrically different.
