Yea after reading on here not sure about the 21. If I get a really good deal on a 20 then I will go with that. If not then it will be a 21.In your other post you said you were leaning toward the 20 Tahoe.
Wife wants to upgrade to a bigger suv. We are looking at the 21 Tahoe or the 4Runner. Does the Tahoe have a timing chain or belt. Also is it a cvs transmission or a standard. Had issues in the past with the cvs transmissions
Thanks. Also noticed the gas mileage is better with the Tahoe. Now just trying to decide a 20 or a 21GM LS engines all use timing chains, no belts. No rubber band crap transmissions either, these things are built to tow and have real transmissions. 4Runner is a much smaller vehicle, the Tahoe is the garage friendly full-size vehicle. Completely different vehicles and I would never even consider a 4Runner as a family hauler.

There aren’t many 20’s left. All I found was the cheap ones with hardly any options. The 21 uses the 10 speed developed by Ford and GM. It’s a heavy duty for towing.Well, you're going to get plenty of good deals on the '20. No one buying new wants a car with an outdated body style the day they buy it. Buy the '21. Have some stones.
