Guys,

I have a 2015 Tahoe and the condenser is bad (of course). I’ve done some AC work in the past (tho not on this car) and have a shop where I can work on my cars (I restore classic muscle cars as a hobby). I have all the equipment to do this and will do the job myself but I’m wondering if anyone knows how much oil to put back into the system to account for replacing the condenser and accumulator. I saw somewhere in a post to add 2.5 Oz. Does that sound right? I’ll probably pick up a service manual before I start it and it may be in there but figured I’d ask to see if someone knows.

I never much liked how to measure oil you put into system. It's a quite a bit of guesswork unless you flush the entire system and start from scratch. The factory service manual for 2015 should say. I have a 2001 Tahoe w/ rear air. Levels from FSM for 2001 Tahoe are below. There's a possibility this is the same.

FYI ~ My system is all rebuilt for peace of mind at 250k miles. All parts are new minus front evap (PITA to get at) and condenser. The factory put on Denso parts for my truck. The replacement condenser was junk compared to the old Denso unit so I kept the original. My 2cents... I'd buy Denso or a reputable make. The kits on RockAuto seem to throw whatever into them.
