This may be discussed somewhere out there, and I apologize if it is but I can't find it.
I just got my Airaid Jr in today and quickly put it on. Went for my first drive and it seems super sluggish. I got on the highway and floored it going about 60, I could hear the effects but nothing happen. The truck didn't want to pick up speed or anything. So I'm wondering if anyone else has had this issue or would know what the issue is?

No codes. I did read about disconnecting the battery cable but there was mixed opinions about it. I'll give that a try and see if that'll help.

I modded the intake box for more flow and pulled the battery cable. Never ran into any problems.

I built my own pvc intake tube and didn't have any issues. But I have read some do and disconnecting the battery usually cures it.

Good to see you back around!

I've been lurking around, lol. It's disconnected right now, I'll hook it back up tomorrow when I get off and see if that corrects it. I've gotten the itch to work on the performance side of things. I plan on sending in my deposit to BB for the scan cables this Friday!!

Cool. Let me know if it works. If not I can take a look at it sometime if ya want.

You should be happy with the BB tune. I know I was on mine. Even my wife noticed the difference in how much better it drives.

Got in it as soon as I got home and got on the highway. It's almost like I lost 5th gear. At 65 it acts like it wants to change gears but won't, got up to 80 and it still acts the same. If I hold the gas steady at 60, the rpms fluctuate between 2200 and 2900 and when I let off, it slows down quickly on its own. I don't understand what's going on.

Unless you've done a swap you have a 4l60e, so no 5th gear btw.

So it accelerates normally, but will not shift into OD? You sure there is no codes? Try putting your stock intake back on and see if it makes any difference.
