Prayers sent!!! As many others have said, the hoe is replaceable, your son not... man upstairs was watching over him.

Side note, this is why when I was 16 I drove an 88 burb and when my sister turned 16, she got a 2dr hoe. My dad always said he wanted us in big trucks and he would foot the fuel bill for us to be safe for my parents piece of mind. I will do the same for my kids when they turn 16...

WOW! Sorry to hear about the truck, but GLAD to hear your son and his buddy made out ok. I was in a severe wreck several years ago. I wasn't in a vehicle anywhere near as safe as a big hunk of metal like these, and I made out much worse for it. As a father myself, I cannot imagine what you went through at the time. I wasn't really aware of the severity of my wreck for a few days. I am thankful it was me and only me in my car though. It's something that I hope my daughter NEVER has to go through! I hope your son is doing well! I feel for the pain he will endure during weather changes. Literally, I KNOW the pain.

Here is an old thread about a Tahoe that I redid for my son 4 or 5 months ago. To say my son loved his Tahoe is an understatement.

Well, Monday was his last day off of school for Christmas break and him and his buddy were going squirrel hunting. On his way he had an accident, a pretty bad accident. It was bad enough that his buddy that was with him had to pull him from the truck.

He has a long road ahead of him to heal, he suffered a concussion, a brain contusion, fractured spine, and a couple of spots on his lungs and his stomach. He is home and overall doing well. Just keep him in your prayers please.
How's your son doing? Hopefully much better!
