This goes for every brand and make

Ahhhh, hit the nail rite on the head! My boss has a POS 2010 S63 Benz which which has spent more time at the dealer then in his garage! Body control modules, rattling heat shields, leaking turbo's, intake manifold gaskets, etc, etc! 165K and its total crap!

Brent...pics of your "rust all over"? of all the things you listed off there that's the thing that got me the most  A lot of the other stuff in your list seems like regular maintenance stuff other than dash crack of course.

All those items have gone bad since I bought the truck in 2010. With just now hitting 70k miles, that much shouldn't be going bad.

Will try to get pics of the rust...

What month was the truck purchased? Just got this on a site:

A: GM vehicles are designed and built to resist corrosion. All body and sheet metal components are warranted against rust-through corrosion for a minimum of 6 years/100,000 miles (whichever comes first). Application of additional rust-inhibiting materials is not required under the corrosion coverage and none is recommended. See your GM dealer for terms of this limited warranty.

No idea when it was originally leased. It was a GM company vehicle in Detroit. I am the 2nd "owner"...

man and i thought my 07 yukon was bad. i have had to have it jumped 9 times from dead batteries dealer says every time it was a bad battery.my fuse for the seat and door locks blows every 6 mos. the mirror on drivers side shakes on the freeway, (dealer fixed 4 times )and occasionaly the gauges stop working. and the trim around the windows is always popping loose. not to mention GM didn't want to extend the warranty that they usually try to get you to buy.
