I had this kit and had same issue. Swapped everything to working side and issue never went away. Swapped relays too. Tried in my 15 Yukon and 10 Tahoe. Same issue. Grounded in same spots and tried different older TRS kit and it worked. So it's def the kit and not my vehicle or where I grounded it. These new kits are ****** and no quality control. Older TRS kits are a lot better IMO.

rmcclean,

Have you found a solution to the drivers side staying on longer after shutting off? I just installed my system, and have the same issue, just not as long. I did not install a canbus harness. XD may be full of it with their troubleshooting idea. Going to make some calls tomorrow

No resolution. I guess their theory of the CANBUS storing power wouldn't hold true for you if they are not installed. Must be another issue. I went back and forth over e-mail. I know this is the 3rd kit on this platform doing the same thing.

Maybe if a few of us call they will dive a little deeper into the root cause. I was told the CANBUS are required for dependable operation. No other issues with the kit besides that delay issue.

I wonder if the canbus has a capacitor link in it internally? That's the only thing that could tie our two cases together. I absolutely love the kit I put together. Excellent light output, perfect color. I plan on doing an install write up when I get time
