Uh.... AC Delco has a storefront on Amazon. Buddy at the local dealer said they frequently get parts from there using the manager's personal account, instead of through normal channels which take longer and cost almost double. The products you buy from them on Amazon have the OEM hologram and everything.....

there might be a legit acdelco store in Amazon but it's definitely not what comes up for most people. I got taken twice. Just in oil pressure sensors. they look pretty close, bags look legit. but the Lazer font is wrong on the part itself compared to the oem 2011 one and the rock auto and local gm parts department one. plus both fail within a few months. sort the reviews by worst and you'll see a trend, none of them last more than 5 months, most don't update the reviews thou.

I've heard of gm parts department doing this before. they are selling fake parts to their customers. maybe not knowingly but if you can't get a part from the internal supply chain at dealer cost but you can buy it on Amazon for cheaper.and or our if stock everywhere else. it ain't real is my 2 cents.

I'm convinced Amazon is knock offs. left is the oem from 2011. middle us Amazon acdelco and right is rock auto. the 15$ middle one is not the same as the 50$ ones.

the average person is going to Amazon, search by part number or vehicle type. the sensors will show up, if you look close it will be sold by 15 different sellers and will default to the cheapest that will ship prime. that's most likely not your official acdelco store front. you will have to know what you're doing to find that part from them and then it won't be much if any cheaper than just click on rock auto, throw in a decount code and know you get a legit part.

Definitely you have to look at the top left of a listing, where it names the seller. If it doesn't say AC Delco, move on. The easiest way to avoid the other sellers is go directly to the AC Delco store linked above.
