Low Profile Splash Guards

We bought my wife’s 2019 Suburban RST about a month ago and quickly realized it needed something to keep the running boards/rockers clean since we live about 1/2 mile down a gravel road (imagine wet gravel mud/dust after a good rain). I looked into all the aftermarket splash guards and didn’t think they would mesh with the RST trim.

And figured I’d try them. They don’t fit like they are designed to but I made them work and really like the outcome.

I only had to drill one hole into the suburban on each side of the front to mount them with a push pin (after removing the rubber clips from the splash guards).





In the rear I used some nylon sleeves to space them out and mounted them with the stock bolts. I used a longer screw in the bottom hole. I forgot to get a closeup picture of the rear but will post up later.

I might need to move the fronts “outward” and down a bit but will see how it works like this first.

I probably would have bought the weathertechs and trimmed them to my liking.

I did buy the weathertechs but found no need to trim them.
