Low RPM lope

99 tahoe 5.7 4x4.

Doesn't matter if engine is warm or not. Unless i give it gas, it wants to sputter/lope at anything below 1500RPM. Especially when going through parking lots.

I'm recently experiencing the same issue.
I have to tear into my engine to replace the lifters due to start up knock and am going to search for the issue before I start disassembley.
I will let you know what I find.
