New to the site! Old to Yukons! I have an 01 that I've owned since new. Started having this particular issue when it was all bone stock. Driving on I95 headed to Va, thought I hit something with the rear tire, heard it hit the wheel well. Then the truck acted as if I had a flat, all over the road. I pulled over & checked all 4.. No flat, normal pressure, but the truck was all over the road. Took it to the dealer (1st mistake) their answer was to replace rear shocks & auto ride pump. Ok, done. Still drove bad, replace front shocks, no difference. So ffwd to now. Lowered 3" (summit racing kit) New sway bars front & rear with all the bushings etc. Upper & lower trailing arms in the rear. Idler & pitman arm, upper control arms, fresh alignment, and it still drives like a bobber in the sea moving side to side, enough to make you seasick. I have yet to find a suspension specialist in Atlanta where i reside now & all the mechanics I've questioned have no idea. I refuse to let this beast go since It just got a new Texas Speed 408 stroker, stage 5 Trans, Monster transfer case, driveshaft, front differential etc etc etc... only thing left is the Torsion Bars & the factory rack n pinion. Anyone have a suggestion?? All help welcome!!!
