My 04 tahoe with 2-3 drop do I want to cut the front bump stops or leave them stock length ? thanks

Leave them alone. You won't need to do anything with them unless you go a lot lower

they arent bump stops. they are jounce bumpers. an active part of the suspension. If your drop has knuckles the gap shouldn't change. If you drop via torsion bar loosening it will ride like crap and ride fully on them which is improper

I did just 2" drop keys there turned up almost all the way

Hey guys just did a 2/3 mcgaughys drop on my 2005 Chevy Tahoe I noticed the left rear side parking cable is tight on the shock the instructions never said to move or relocate the cable I also have the stabilitrack light on my parking brake light is on and it says to service brakes as well all I did was disconnected the wheel bearing abs plug to install it in the new spindle on each side I plugged both back in any suggestions on what to do

I'll let the experts chime in, but if it were me I'd get a scanner and clear the codes. If they come back then you have an issue. If codes weren't there before and you didn't botch the install there shouldn't be any issues.
Also, my shock and cable are that close as well. Just how it is.

Well I had a guy check all the codes and clear them they came back on it was saying the front right sensor the next morning after doing some research about the parking brake light I went out to my Tahoe and pulled the release handle and pulled the brake pedal up at the same time it sounded like the pedal wasn't all the way up it seems like it got stuck the light went off I started it up and noticed my track control and stuff was off as well my hoe is like a demon or something the mechanic told me to go through all grounds of the vehicle and sand off the protective coating and re ground the wires to make sure they have good grounds(another Chevy problem) as for the ride it's the same as factory and that's how I prefer hey for dirty hoe how long have u had the brake cable in front of the shock with no issues and for mr ball how long have u had ur cable on the shock are there any signs of rubbing damages on the shock or cable thanks for the replies guys oh I forgot to mention about making sure the grounds are good before I put my drop on I was having electrical glitches all the time the seat heaters wouldn't work I could stop the hoe and then restart it and the seat heaters would work again I also have the same issue with the rear ac wanting to blow heat instead of ac turn the hoe off and then start it and it will blow ac so I'm definitely going to do the grounds in this pic it's on a sloped driveway but the two three dropped it enough for me and has a small front rake to it
