hey yall! I have a few questions.. I need to lower the back of my tahoe to 5" because the gap is too big! haha but my tires are 285-50-20.. would they tuck or would i even be tucking just sitting at 5" lowered in back? I cannot tell just by looking in the back if it would hit? Thank yall for the help.

my tires are 275 50 20 and my truck is dropped 4" in the back. and i still have some fender gap, about 3".

so im assuming you should still have 2" clearance, or maybe just sitting right on top of the tire but not tucking. but mine's an 09 and im not sure if both our years have the same ride height stance

genevieve i have the djm trailblazer 4 inch rear springs and you can ask matt14 how they ride :) they are great only thing with 5 inch rear drop you will need to get new shocks and the djm rear hardware kit.

on your truck before you do anything measure from ground to fenderlip in both front and rear because honestly I think you can just get the belltech 4 inch rear kit and save yourself some money. I really wouldnt want you to get a 5 inch rear drop spring and then have the rear sit lower then the front.

+1 on the belltech coils just scoop the 34324 kit from Tony, comes with shock extensions and ill progressive rate coils. They're the lowest, smoothest riding coil for these trucks if you prefer to keep it simple :imo:
