Lowering yukon denali

I went 3" in the front using the Belltech 2" spindles and McGaughy's coil relocators on the factory Autoride struts set to 1" drop.

The rear was supposed to be a 4" drop, but if I remember my measurements it went down a little more than that (probably due to worn out Autoride).

Anyway, here's a 3" front, 4-ish" rear drop on a Denali with 22's:

Did you install that yourself or did you have a shop do it? If so, what shop and how much did they charge?

I did it with a couple buddies on a Saturday. A friend of mine has a two post lift and lots of tools though, so we weren't exactly laying in the driveway with a Sears tool kit.

The back can be done easily in a driveway. It took us about 45 minutes to do the rear, working casually while moderately hungover.

The front was more difficult. We had trouble getting the spring off the strut and installing the coil relocators, but once we figured out how to do one side, the second one was easy. Then the only issue was cutting the upper ball joint stud to clear the front CV axles without rubbing. If you aren't changing springs or using coil relocators and your truck is 2WD, the front is easily a DIY job.
