it seems the interior lights in my hoe are kinda dim. like they dont seem to be bright enough for any purpose. can they be upgraded?
not that I am aware of unless someone is selling upgraded parts, the interior lighting is pitiful.
and the one led in the headliner over the center console never goes off, so you have to unplug it from above by accessing the center roof console
on mine I added a led strip under the edge of the dash, which was a while back I probably need to replace it as some of it has burnt out.

Some people change out the bulbs for LEDs.

that's the problem the k2's already have a LED, as in "1" led so there are a handful of carefully placed single led's through out the vehicle but because they are single low power led's the output is bare minimum and it makes upgrading a very difficult process.

For reference, on the k2's you get 2 led in the roof console they are not easily replaced with anything in the gmt900 you can slap some nice lights in within seconds. To ,even get to them the whole console has to be removed and they are wired and soldered in

Spend time in older vehicles and you think it's plenty bright.
Yeah the non easy upgrade or even plain bulb replacement when something fails is the one draw back of newer lighting.
