Luggage Rack Cross Rails Fitment from Tahoe to Avalanche

FYI, when I traded in my 07 Tahoe LTZ for my 10 Avalanche I kept the cross rails from the Tahoe. Guess what, they are the same. Fit perfect. Part #'s were different from GM but they fit perfect. So if you are wanting to get these and find a set from a Tahoe they work just fine.

The only thing your cross rails won't fit is the Denali or escalade roof racks. Other than that, it will fit all Tahoes, suburbans, avalanches, yukons, and so forth.

Why didn't the avalanche come with the cross rails? Mine did.

It's not always added. Our LTZ suburban didn't come with cross rails. My buddies LT did. Just depends I guess.

The cross rails are listed as an accessory on GM Parts Direct. The build sheet on my Avalanche says it has Package V54 - LUGGAGE RACK - SIDE RAILS , it says nothing about cross rails on the build sheet.
