ok so for a temporary fix i just bought some 6x20 metric bolts. The existing bolts seem to have some sort of thread sealer on them. Anyone know what kind it is, ie. loctite brand?

I was thinking of using teflon tape instead of silicon, Any Thoughts? Or has someone tried that already?

Ok the 6 x 20 bolts did not work, they were approx. 1/8th on an inch too long. So i went to home depot and bought some 6 x 12mm set screws. I wrapped the threaded with teflon tape and put some UV protected waterproof silicon on the threads for good measure and on top of the set screw to prevent it from retaining water.

So far it looks pretty decent and it will do fine until im able to do the body work.

Not bad DJ! I noticed you left the center strips on the roof too any reason?

Does anyone know if they are just glued down like the side moldings and badges?

Know of an easy way to remove without hurting the paint?
