There aren't any good tuners near here that I know of was thinking either get hp tuners and try to do it myself or go through black bear idk yet on that

Having a tuner local is not a big deal IMO. BBP is great although if you want to learn how to tune as time goes I feel there is much better support for HP tuners. I've used remote tuning from Atomic Fab&performance since 2017 and he has been excellent and used HPtuners. He responds in less than 24hours for changes and can do anything from mild to wild.

I like the idea of learning to do it myself. I have zero trust in people working on my vehicles so the more I can learn to do the better. It will be interesting tho I'm not really familiar with this kind of stuff. But there's lots of information and videos on how to do it so I should be able to figure it out

I used to use Atomic for everything but I have since learned to do my Tahoe myself, I've done a few other mild builds as well. like you said good videos and practice makes it easy to learn.

It's something I definitely gotta look into before I decide what way to tune. If I have someone like black bear do it how does that work with a custom engine I can't just send them my computers original tune because that would be completely different?

They can send you a canned tune that will get you up and running, then you can log the data for them and get a customized tune for your rig. I’m happy with my results from Black Bear, on both Denali’s.

Canned means that it's a pre-built tune file based on the information you provide them with about your setup. They will create a tune file for you that you can then install to get the engine up and running so that you can drive it and collect the data for the final tune.

Hey is this still for sale? How much you want for it? I was looking at a vinci cam stage 2 trucker cam and all the accessories.
Yes, I still have it all. I haven't been actively trying to sell it, but would make you a good deal if you want it. I'll PM you a little later today with the full parts list and an asking price.
