I did trim out the lower inside wheel well. Right after I installed the Pedders kit I loaded up a trailer plus 6 people and 2 dogs in the Tahoe and went on a camping trip. By the time I got home I had worn the plastic down so thin I could cut it out with a dull box cutter. Even after I had unloaded everything I could hear it rub on hard corners.

I have since added some lift bags for the next time I load the Tahoe down.

Your comment about pedders saying the 305's will fit has me back to square one:emotions122:

Well I looked through Tire Rack for quite a while, and the 305/50 is the same exact diameter, next size wider. I have the Auto leveling so think loading mine up shouldn't hurt.
On mine, at least, there is a bulge in the plastic wheel well at the rear for the upper shock bolt. I also have a bulge in the front where the ride height sensor is. What part did you trim? Any pictures?

Forgive the dirt but it rained / snowed today. My concern is when the wheel is turned. The front tires are very close to the wheel well. I have never had them rub but there is not much room for more tire.

The front has room for 1 finger when the wheel is turned.

The rear has room for 2 fingers when the wheel is turned.

We have a funny situation. I have wide tires and want to lower. You have lowered and want wide tires

The rear has room for 2 fingers when the wheel is turned
The rear wheels turn?

The front rubs ever so slightly when the wheels are at full lock, in which you would barley be moving. It isn't bad at all or concerning.
The rear looks like it will rub after lowered. Does your rear rub now? Here is a picture of the area I am concerned with.

The rear comment was directed to the rear of the front tire compared to the front of the front tire. It just seems very tight when you turn the wheel. The rear wheel well seems to have enough room. I will try to snap a pic Tuesday.
