Magnaflow - 12589 or 12259 for 5.3

Most people complain about it not being loud enough

Yeah, I know lots of people run SLP Delete with 12589...and I've seen some complain that it's not loud enough, too. That's why I'm wondering more about 12259. If it doesn't really drone with resonator delete then that's likely my pick.

What year is yours?

The older trucks don't have a 3rd cat and kills some sound on the newer ones

UPDATE:
I installed the Magnaflow 12589 and love it. Might not be loud enough for youngsters who want/need to be heard from 1/2-mile away, but it's perfect for me.

Can you post a sound clip? Had a Magnaflow on my work van, and it sounded great.

I will try this weekend. But be warned that the tone is mild.

Actually, here is a representative clip from YouTube with my same setup. My Tahoe is a 2008 with two instead of 3 cats (I understand that there are 3 cats on 2009 and later model years) so my tone might be very slightly deeper/louder, but not by much. Just skip to the 4:00 mark:
