Sorry, I flowmaster'ed mine but have magnaflow cats. I think there are a few users of the magnaflow cat-back but not a lot of them so be patient as is night take a few days for a response. I can't recall their names right now but if I come across them I will divert their attention to your thread here.

I don't have a true cat back just muffler back but I am very pleased with it . I have to dig up the part number not entirely sure which one I went with at the moment but the only thing that is rusting on mine is where they welded the 3 inch black chrome tip . Both the tip and everything else is rust free Just the tiny Voids in the weld show rust symptoms but no real pitting as of yet .

A great muffler That I sell at advanced is the Thrust Weld. its the same as Flowmaster, they lost their Pat. from what I heard and now Thrust make the same thing, I hear thats why flowmaster has **super 40 44's and so on new Pat. New Name the Thrust Weld I had was 39.99 on sale and I run a single pipe to look stock, MAN it sounded great I miss it. I'm going to put them on my 4.8 truck in the next month. save your money from the big name brands out there.

I run magnaflow cats and a borla cat back. Awesome.

Burban runs stock cats and a flowmaster 50, not bad for a family truck

I ran a custom setup with the stock cat and a Magnaflow Magnapack sounded mean, now I have the Flowmaster 3" catted y-pipe with there 3" cat-back not as loud but still sounds good

I've got the Magnaflow cat-back and like it...

"Gentleman's rumble" is how I'd describe the sound - not overly aggressive, but definitely noticeable. No drone at cruise, and the straight-through design doesn't compromise flow at all. Compared to the Flowmaster 50 setup I had previously (2.25" DI/DO), the cat-back system seems less restrictive. Some of the difference could be due to the larger, mandrel bent pipes that are in the cat-back compared to the muffler shop pipe bends, but the mufflers are certainly different in design (FM = chambered, MF = straight-through).

As far as external appearances, the polished tip and muffler show no signs of rust. However, the exhaust pipes themselves are no longer shiny - there are varying types/qualities of SS... the pipes are the magnetic version and therefore are not "true" SS - and have discolored over the past 8 years (installed July 2006). Even with that, they are still in good shape.

Hope that helps
