Magnaflow performance loss

Go with a dynomax VT if you sell the magnaflow Cody. I love mine and had issues with the flowmasters in a single 3" in/out configuration, kept blowing out cold rolled welds in the muffler's inlet. Dynomax is quiet until you stand on it, then it sounds better than the magnaflow or flowmaster I had installed prior.

I was just looking at that online at work yesterday too! lol, someone at work said to go with the turbo muffler but thats the quietest muffler they make. Im assuming you just have a welded in muffler in your 6.0?

I had my doubts but it is great so far. I need to order some mandrel bends for the section above the axle. I have longtubes, custom y, magnaflow cat, muffler to turndown and it sounds awesome.

so youve got the whole 9, shes gotta sound incredible! im just looking to weld in a muffler into my 6.0. the stock muffler is dual in/dual out so am researching options to get more educated on that fun stuff.

Pretty cheap to have a muffler shop weld up a single 3" for you, my muffler is about $80 or $90 shipped off summitracing or jegs.

sounds good, thats not gonna "hurt" performance? Im not trying to feel a loss in power or restric the exhaust in any way, shape or form by doing so kinda like by what the OP experienced?..
