I heard that Armor All dries up the plastic and vinyl because it dehydrates the material that it's sprayed on. I thought I heard that it soaks up a lot of the oils from the plastic/vinyl and brings it to the surface for all that shine that we look for. Did I hear this right or am I just a nut? I use Meguiar's car products for that extra protection and shine, and try to stay away from Armor All. I prefer Meguiar's NXT wax since it leaves a mirror-like finish on the hoe. They have some "Gold Class" wax, but isn't as good as the "NXT" wax (just an FYI).

I have heard that too but haven't had any problems myself. I use it on my Armor All on my interior and on my tires and so far I haven't had any trouble. I wouldn't worry about it too much personally

people also use to think the world was flat...Ive had no problems what so ever. also with the tire foam spray, you spray it on and close the hood. no wiping
