My 2015 just went past 100k and dealer wants to change everything. Some of this stuff, per the manual, I should have done 10k miles ago but I didn't see any mention of how often power steering fluid should be changed.

Also internet search says coolant every 30-35k miles while manual says 150k miles. There's also no mention in the manual for front & reach differential service

How often do you guys change

* power steering fluid
* coolant fluid
* differential fluid

Manuals have two sections for maintenance intervals. "Normal Driving" and "Severe Driving". I would always always follow the severe driving intervals. I am also very old school and still even change my full synthetic engine oil at 5k miles even though my system says 45% efficiency or oil life left. I change all other fluids at typically 50k miles intervals, no matter what the manual or dealer says. Brake fluid, coolant, power steering fluid, transfer case, both differentials, hell, anything liquid except washer fluid. I also use synthetic/silicone grease and completely clean all rubber seal surfaces and lube them at the doors and hatch and windows and sun/moon roof and blow out the drains. But then again, I am very a-n-a-l about that crap. If you want to keep that rig, remember that these fluids are the blood of each of these systems.

I recommend that you familiarize yourself with your vehicle a little more.
1. there is no power steering, it's electric
In my opinion fluid changes should be done annually as a point of "good maintenance" with the exception of the differentials, transfer case. those can go a little longer maybe 2-3 years max. the gear oil is heavy duty,
some may say that's a waste of money, well that's your opinion and I would reason to believe those kind of people do not plan to keep there vehicle for 10 years or more either and will just drive it until either something breaks or it suddenly needs a lot of maintenance in which case they just dump it and start over.
if you have gone a 100k and have not already changed every drop of fluid, then it's seriously overdue.

Awhile back I told my GMC dealer who services my vehicle do not offer me wallet flushes.

Recently had it serviced at 135K miles. They said the coolant is still good and will be just fine till 150K miles.

Transmission Fluid is changed every 40-50K miles.

Air Filter and Cabin gets changed out every 40K miles or before.

Oil is changed out every 5K miles using ONLY 0w20 AC Delco Oil [sometime Mobil 1] and AC Delco Filters.

Differential Fluid has not been changed out yet as dealer said it is still good. BTW I have never changed out Differential Fluid on any vehicle and put anywhere from 200-300K miles on all of them.

I tend to be like you. Some would call it over maintenance. 5k oil changes. Change other fluids maybe 2x more often than specified. It doesn't cost much to DIY the fluids.

Like my signature says, "maintenance pays and breakdowns cost". You can plan on the time and know the maintenance costs ahead of time. With breakdowns, it is always a surprise and a surprise cost and it never happens in your driveway. Now, with Ca. and other states pledging to shut down new sales of internal combustion vehicles and selling only electric cars, the used car/truck market will likely stay high and the importance of keeping the vehicles you got and are paid for, in tip top shape. If anyone is thinking of a new career, go in to the automotive repair industry with tools and training and the money will be there. You can write your own ticket and live where you want to. People will be keeping rigs running till I am below dirt for sure.

I'm about 350 miles from 5k miles since last oil change. The oil minder is at 36%. I think that works out to 73 miles per one percent. The minder might be designed to give 0% at 7000miles. At 5k I will change and send a sample to Blackstone. I have the kit already. I want to see how the motor is doing. If bad I might consider selling it. I know my rear end is not 100% happy, I have a slight whine at 45mph and I can varying it with the throttle. I drive it easy and don't push it unless I have to.

Before my recent long trip I too had a slight whine at the rear diff that I was worried about. It also changed under load and no load, like yours. I removed the rear cover and found the oil to look pristine and no metal flakes. The oil should have looked clean because about 2k miles before that I had done axle seals and bearings and used AC Delco full synthetic fluid. I measured gear lash. My lash measurement was just on the tighter side of the allowable gear lash tolerances. I was surprised and really really really looked at the surfaces of the gear teeth. Looked like new all around, ring and pinion. I even checked the torque spec on all attaching bolts at ring and caps. All good and no problems on trip. It was all just normal noise. Make sure you check yours or have it checked by a qualified shop to verify your concerns.

Yes. My local (maybe only rear end specialist) replaced the carrier bearings about 30k? ago. They said the axle bearings are wearing pretty bad but may last for awhile. I visited them recently to see what they say. I changed the lube. At this point I'm just driving and listening. Noises are not getting worse. My hearing is probably not getting better so I guess the noises could be getting worse. :-(

Need to check that lash asap. Saying axle bearings are wearing bad is weird. They have to pull shafts to inspect those bearings and if bearings are wearing bad may have wear on where bearings ride on the shafts and that could be noise instead of a gear lash problem. What gear oil are you using?
