marine intake onto an 98 vortec

Hello, putting a marine intake on my 98 Tahoe. I purchased a 98 Big block injector harness and adapter cables. I plan on getting the harness side from a scrapyard and splicing it to the small block end. Question is if the wiring colors on the harness match, since the 98 Tahoe also came with a big block and diesel engine. If not does anyone have the wiring info for a 98 Tahoe 5.7 so, I can splice the harness together. Thanks

Which ECU are you using? black box or 0411?

I've seen lots of people upgrade to the 0411 for better tuning purposes.

It has the stock ECU now. What is the 0411? OEM or after market.

Do you have the black box ecu or silver box.

Silver/aluminum ECU is the 0411 ECU, stock on newer vehicles.

You probably have the older black box version.

Many websites out yonder that cover the simple ECU swap, probably would benefit your current situation if you swapped.
