You need a 3/4 truck to pull 10500 lbs. Don't try to do it with your Tahoe because the brakes are too small and the 2door wheelbase is way too short.

ya man i don figured it was to much i didn't wanna burn nothing up . . . but i figured it

should atleast be able to pull a 22 footer that ways bout couple thousand pounds right

. . . my title says the truck ways close to 2 tons so i figure since its pullin its own

weight plus couple more thousand pounds i would deffinatly have to up grade my

brakes or something

no actual button, its suggested to put it in 3 while towing. i would honestly say towing the weight of your vehicle would be the most for me.

Do you know for sure there is a brake controller?

The with the short wheelbase, 6" lift, 35s, and stock brakes. I would only tow around 2500lbs. If there was a brake controller I would say around 5000.

Either way you can't tow 10,500lbs with it.

unknown at this time.
3.73 was the biggest option gear ratio but with that you can do 6500 hundred pounds of total trailers weight if 4wd drive-train. 2wd setup up will get you 500 more pounds. tongue weight of no more then 10% of trailer and do not let that and internal cargo exceed GVW rating on door sticker. Must have the oil cooler and trailer brakes installed to do anything over a 1 ton trailer. Anything over 2 tons require sway controls. If the tranny get shift happy take it out of overdrive. There should be wiring provisions for a trailer power supply and brake control in addition to lighting power wires.
