Denali with 8 speed and 6.2 - 8400 lbs.
Just sayin.
Might have something to do with the leaf spring suspension on the regular Yukon versus the Denali?

It does change the shift points slightly, but more importantly it also locks out OD in an effort to bring RPMS up and transmission temps down. Much healthier for the transmission.
I cant believe this myth of rear leaf springs is still hanging on. 1/2 ton based GM suvs have not had leaf springs since 99.
Simmer down... We've had an 08' as well. Well aware that they did not have leafs. I thought I read that the new trucks were going back to a leaf. Could have been an error or confused with another model. I haven't had a GM SUV since 2012, been out of the game.
