I just installed the MCG Rear lowering springs using the Nivomat shocks. I am Concerned with the Emergency brake line seems to be wrapped right up against the shock on the drivers side. HAs anyone else had this issue? If so how did you correct?
Also with this 2-3 drop will I need to modify or shorthen the rear bump stops?

My truck does the same thing w/ the e-brake cable. I've been lazy and actually let it rub through a Z55/autoride shock (wasn't too thrilled about replacing that, haha). For rubbing on the shock body, it won't cause any immediate damage so I wouldn't worry. Anyway, I'm debating on fabbing up a relocating bracket or swapping shocks. As for the bump stops, I trimmed mine. Hope this helps

LOL, yeah. It won't bend or damage the integrity of the shock but it will rub the paint off after a year or so. I believe I left one bubble coming out of the mount.

K. I'm not worried about the shock or shock paint but the brake line itself. One bubble on the mount. I will get to cutting. I need to get started on the spindles before it gets to late. Thx.

pics. Yeah it's gonna be a while. I am freaking frustrated right now. I used a pickle fork to remove ball joints which started okay but then I realized the fork ripped the ball joint boots. ANd to top it off I was never able to remove the spindle from the lower ball joint. That ***** is stuck! I think I'm going to TRY to put it back together and buy new ball joints before I go back in. :Boo: I need to figure out how to remove the spindle from that lower ball joint.

put a jack on the ball joint/lower arm and get BFH and beat the spindle off.

Free travel mod. i will have to look that up. Too late to beat it. We tried earlier. I'm almost done putting it back together. Trying not to wake the neighbors. They got small kids.

Spindles are always tough. Once you've done them they're always easier the next time around.
