Mcgaughy’s 2” auto-ride Kit installed on a 16 burb.

I’m getting a clunk type jerk/pull from the rear when going over speed bumps. Feels like it happens at the top of the bump. Everything is tight, coils aren’t hitting the frame, can’t figure it out. Almost feels like it could be hitting the bump stops, should the stock ones be replaced for shorter ones for a 2” kit? Any suggestions?

I would guess. I know with Belltech kit it comes with smaller bump stops so there is a good chance that the stock bump stop is just a little too large for any additional lowering

Thanks, I’m going to pull the stops and go for a test ride to confirm. Anyone have a good source for OEM style shorter stops? Would like to get a nice fit instead of generic.

@NORCAL SS Tony has them. I had the same issue with 3” drop springs and just cut off about 1/2 way. Did your kit come with shock extenders?
