I don't see how the axle will be hitting the fram with jsut a 2/3 drop, thats mainly more common on 3/5 drops.
I think its just the exhaust, get the pipes out the way and trim your bumpstops and you should be good!

I had a 2/3 drop b4 my current 3/5 drop and I never had an issue with the exhaust hitting the axle.

The 2/3 drop looks real nice on your ride. I've been up in the air about goin 3/5 or 2/3. How are your curb-hopping abilities?

well when i started hearing noises i laid under the truck and had my dad push the rear end down as if i was hitting a bump or something and i saw that the exhaust pipes were hitting the axle and were actually getting a little bit dented. after my guy bent the pipes and did some maneuvering to the hangers its a little better but still far from perfect......my curb hopping abilities are slightly less than stellar but still love her....

That 2/3 drop looks good!

I have a 2004 Yukon rolling on 305/35/24. If I install a 2/3 drop, will there be major issues in rubbing and turning?

Does anyone have this set up? If so, how is your experience?

I've got an 04' on 305/45/22's and run a 3/5 drop. I had to trim my liners quite a bit and still rub on full crank especially to the left but nothing major, just rubbin plastic. If you go low your gonna rub......that's just the way it is........

hey jerzboy did you do the install yourself or did you have a shop do it? I was going to get mine lowered but the shop wanted $800 for it.. seemed steep to me.

Besides, rub isn't all that bad.. if someone says something about it, you just ask them if they can make that noise with their ride ;)

I did mine myself with my brother in law, it took us the better part of the day but it wasn't bad at all....certainly not worth $800 in labor even if that is with the kit thats $250-$300 labor and that is wack. I am by no means a mechanic and I thought is was pretty straight forward, just take your time.

BTW: those LED bumper lights are ill' they must be fairly new because they didn't have them last year when I ordered new bumper lights for mine. I did clear corners with LED bulbs but I will be ordering a set of smoked LEDz like yours in a few weeks. Already watching them on Ebay.....

Yeah i ordered them a few months ago while i was on deployment.. they were hard to find.. i found a set a long time ago on ebay but they vanished.. took like 2 months to find them again.

Some light up amber and white, and a few light up all white like mine. The driving lights are super bright and the parking lamps are dim untill you hit the turning signal.. then the whole thing flashes bright.

When you get them... they're a b*tch to wire correctly.. there are quite a few different configs. you can do as far as when the lights come on and which ones come on.

No doubt.....not just plug and play? Shouldn't they just plug into the appropriate corresponding plug, DRL, TURN, CORNER MARKER? What kind if wiring is there?
