MCGAUGHYS 33047 deluxe drop kit?

okay im looking to lower my tahoe. its a 06 z71 2wd, been looking at alot of options. but i think i settled on the MCGAUGHYS 33047 kit with spindles. Now i want to get close to factory ride thats why i chose not to go with keys up front. But on their website it says that modification to the stock 17 in wheels might be necessary. im wondering what modification it mentions. if anyone has done this or recomends another kit that ride comfortably i would appreciate it. still havent completely decided what im going to do, but im sure i want to a 2/3 drop with stock rims for now. maybe upgrade later on.

I think the mcgaughy's kit would be just fine. Had one for a 07 escalade it was a 2/3 as well and it rode exactly like factory. I also had their 3/5 on my 04 (which I later turned into a 5/7) but to get my factory 17's to work with no problems all I had to do was grind down the bottom bolt that goes threw the spindle. Made it flush with the nut and boom good to go.

Yeah all the spindles for 17s got to grind bottom.
