McG's 3/5 on 22's?

Just bought an '02 Escalade, which is mad styley but skying on 22's. Based on a friends recommendation I'm planning on installing a McG's 3/5 kit. A few quick questions:

Is the ride gonna suck?

Will the tires rub?

Will I have to pull out the fender liners or anything weird?

Will I regret not going 2/3 because at 3/5 the truck is unusable in the real world?

Thats my 3/5 on 305/40/22s

Rubs a LITTLE when the wheel is fully cranked left/right (not enough to cause damage to my truck or tire)

No, you dont have to pull anything out

No, you will not regret 3/5...HOWEVER, almost everyone here who has a 2/3 regrets THAT...and would have rather got 3/5...because a 2/3 usually dont look like anything was done

Is the ride gonna suck? You will lose a lot of ride with the 3/5 drop. 2/3 is a good choice for a daily.

Will the tires rub? Yes. How much will depend on your wheel offset.

Will I have to pull out the fender liners or anything weird? You shouldn't have to go that far. You will trim parts of it, but you shouldn't have to remove it.

Will I regret not going 2/3 because at 3/5 the truck is unusable in the real world? If you are going to use your Escalade as your daily. Think hard, because you do lose a lot of comfort with the 3/5. It looks hard though.

As for ride quality, you can run Bilsteins and from what the people that have them say, it rides the same as stock, possibly a little nicer...you should talk to Max about that though

Rad Ride is right, your wheel offset has a lot to do with rubbing...

Usually, you dont need to trim anything with a simple 3/5 drop...it will rub the fender liner at full crank (specially if your hitting curbs fast while cranking it)...but you dont need to trim anything for that

I'd had my 3/5 which is now 5/6 and its my daily driver, I tow boats, motorcycles, family...no issues

go with a 3/5.. i am one of those people that bought the 2/3 kit and wished that i went with a 3/5. i am in the process of piecing one together to get me that low. good luck man

in rear i would go with the djm trailblazer 4 inch drop springs and kit. Ride is much better than any other drop spring out there (proven on many peoples trucks on this site) and ive been using this springs since 02 with no problems.. on yah and will sit lower

the djm combo i have set up for the people here rides great just as pshyco he did my set up on his truck last week.
