Me vs. Crutchfield, Im gonna need some help

Yeah i took it out 2 weeks ago but Thursday the truck showed the same symptoms from when i had it in. I took it too the shop and they pulled the codes above. Since Thursday the truck has been fine but its not considered unreliable because of that one instance.

hmm. sure all the pins are fully seated in the radio connector?

if it wasn;t connected to data, then it is impossible that it could have affected that.
the act of pulling out the harness and radio, manipulating them etc however COULD have caused a loose pin.

Yeah i checked the pins, there all good. So what your saying is that the ipod adapted could not affect the trucks computer? If so then thats all i need to hear haha.

not if the only two wires were ground and 12+

there has to be more wiring to get the audio/data/controls in.

It came with a harness. It went like this

Disconnect plug on passenger side of HU
install new plug from harness
Connect old plug to end of new harness.
Attach power and ground

Yeah, im a newb when it comes to car audio. I can build a home theater in a 3 hours but i know very little when it comes to this stuff. This adapter seemed so simple too.

So the problem happened again today. I got a video of it. Hopefully that will help. The truck was gonna go in yesterday but there was way too much snow. I guess ill just have to wait.
