Hey all, looking for a little insight to track down an issue before it becomes a problem.
The setup:
Newer alternator (how new I dont know though, its not factory)
Newer battery (Voltage tests fine and no drain with the vehicle off)
New negative battery terminal
New engine ground strap
I noticed when I activate my turn signals, hazards etc I get a Metronome effect on my voltage gauge. it will dance between 10-14 volts. I replaced the passenger rear engine ground strap (which was non-existant anymore) With 4Ga ground wire (its all I had) and replaced the negative battery terminal which refused to get tight. Also cleaned all contacting surfaces as best I could with a wire brush and steel wool. This seems to have reduced it, but if at all possible Id like to get this stopped all together. My Sierra did it as well but not like the Tahoe does. So Im assuming its a common issue. TIA for the help.
