Picked up a set of these for my 1999 Tahoe after having serious ride problems with the Continental CrossContact tire. Difference is night and day. I will say that the Continental tire had a very slight handling advantage, but the Michelin trumps them in every other area I can think of. These tires are nearly SILENT, silky smooth on the highway, improved my braking, and very predictable. We had a few inches of snow the other night and I never lost traction one bit, even in 2WD. Keep in mind these are a "highway all-seaon" tire. They may be a bit on the expensive side, but they excel in so many areas as well as have a 70,000 mile warranty. Anyone thinking of getting these, you will NOT be disappointed. I believe I paid roughly $800 including mounting, balancing, valve stems, free alignment check, among a few other perks. Just wanted to share how incredibly happy I am with these tires. :peace:
