As you can see I'm new here, looks like a nice forum. My 22 Yukon SLT was built in April and It was just delivered to dealer last week. It was shipped with later retrofit of heated and ventilated seats and front and rear park assist. From sitting so long it needed a complete detail, the paint had a lot crap on it. Dealer says the retrofit is treated like a recall now as GM will send a letter letting you know your parts are ready for it. I know pics or it didn't happen, I'm working on.

Nice, congrats. That was my fear. Hopefully they can fix that up fast for you.

My 22 was also built in April, still hasn't arrived. Jumped on 23 order a month ago and it was built last week, and otw to Canada as we speak (eta October22). It's crazy to think I'll get my 23 before my original February order.

For those folks' with cars that sat over the summer in Midlothian (or car is still there):

I asked a good friend, a master tech mechanic that works for a luxury car dealership company for his input on whether to take delivery of my 2022 that sat in Midlothian since end of May and now in Arlington since August or shoot for a fresh 2023. His insight since the car sat in the Texas heat with no movement:

Things to look out for:

Tires
If they didn't over inflate them knowing the car wouldn't move be aware of soft spots since all the weight has been on the same point of contact day in and day out

Brakes
They could have some rust on them from weather that typically wears off when you press the brakes. While it shouldn't be an issue if you feel pulsating when you brake that could be the issue.

Window Seals
Check these thoroughly. Look for any cracking, peeling off. Constant Texas summer sun is no joke.

Dashboard
Check for any wear, cracks, fading (doubt they put a sun shade over it).

Just got a call that our truck arrived at the dealer this morning. There is a stop sale for the 3rd row seat belt buckle, so it will need to be inspected. Won't be able to pick up until next week due to vacation.

Ordered Feb.
Picked up by GM in Mar.
Built 4/13, sat in Midlothian until late August
Arrived at dealer 10/14 (approx. 3 weeks transit from TX to MI)

Denali Duramax w/ sunroof and 2nd row bench.

When they told you it was on the way, did they give you an ETA? Did it come before or after?

I thought there was some kind of 72 hour sale period that the dealer had to make good on for orders..

Window Sticker became available today(VIN ending 266020):

6.2L, Max tow, Tech package
No update from dealer, not on GMC inventory
Hoping it might actually get shipped now.

are the additional price increases being included on these vehicles or are the MSRPs what they would have been if it was "completed" in April?

The sticker price that I got yesterday is same as the original order back in June 2021.

that's pretty crazy to think as our Jan 22 order increased by almost a $1k when it was built in Apr

sounds like that may be some of the "Midlothian discounts" that other had been asking for...congrats

I pulled the plug on waiting for my Black 2022 RST with luxury package, bench seat and the 5.3L. They didn't mark up the car. It was built in May 2022, sent to Midhell, completed late August 2022 and has been sitting in Arlington since then. With all the 2023s rolling in I went to another dealership near me on October 15 and they had a 2023 RST, bench seat and 5.3L (no luxury package) that happened to be built that day (4am). I put a refundable deposit and have my fingers cross. They have a Red RST that showed up in transit that was built October 13. Ridiculous that the 2022 are just baking there. I feel bad for the original sales guy because he was a decent and nice person and know it isn't the dealership's fault. If anyone in the SW FL area is looking for 2022 RST Tahoe that is awaiting shipment and doesn't mind the uncertainty let me know.
