To the best of my knowledge mine did not go to Midlothian. But mine also shipped over the road via transporter. I would think there almost has to be a rail hub in Arlington at the factory.Do all Tahoes and Yukons get shipped to Midlothian after being built for quality control before being shipped to the dealership or is Midlothian only for issues like missing parts etc during production?
Was wondering if Midlothian was also a normal shipping hub and not necessarily always an everlasting hellish purgatory.
Similar story. On 5/23 I put a deposit down on one that was “already built and just awaiting transportation” per my salesman. I didn’t know anything about these delays when I did that. Come to find out it was produced on 4/12 and has been sitting ever since with no window sticker and my salesman is very dismissive every time I contact him. Decided to put another deposit down on one that hasn’t been built yet but is through a very reputable, upfront, high volume dealer. We’ll see which one comes in first.2022 Tahoe LT here, 27XXXX. Put a deposit down on 4/15 for a “in transit” Tahoe. Has not shown up yet. Transferred to Midlothian 4/12. Seems like every vehicle that was built in late March/early April has ended up in Midlothian. Executive Resolution Team swears it’s a logistics issue yet my dealer has vehicles showing up that were built well after mine. Im not mad at how long it’s taking I’m mad with the lack of honesty and communication from GM.

Do you know when yours was built and bayed at Midlothian?I got a call from my dealership on Friday. They informed me that last week they received a list of vehicles they have on order that have been produced, but are waiting for a microchip. Unfortunately mine was on the list. Best part is the microchip is on backorder, and they hope to get them in October. They did not know which microchip it was, but it has to either be for safety or powertrain or they would have sent the truck and retro-fit it after delivery. They are willing to give back my deposit, but there is nothing else out there.......
Hopefully this is not the case. I am in the same boat with my Yukon XL being stuck at Midlothian since 4/12. Seems strange that the chips wouldn't be available until October if they are continuing to build Yukons/Tahoes. The fact that some dealers are getting info and others are not is also insane. It should be pretty easy to say what the hold up has been on these vehicles. My dealer continues to tell me it is ready to ship, just logistics delay.I got a call from my dealership on Friday. Mine is a Yukon XL SLT, 3.0, max tow and premium package. It was finished 5/12 and sent to Midlothian directly. Until the phone call last week from my dealer I was in the same boat as all of you. nothing from the GMC chat, and all of the prior information from my dealership had me sitting at 4300 waiting for shipping. I was not the only vehicle they had in this position and he made it seem like GM was going to have to shut down production due to the shortage, but I cannot find anything on that.Do you know when yours was built and bayed at Midlothian?
I ended up telling my dealer to order a 2023 as well, and hope something eventually shows up..Mine is a Yukon XL SLT, 3.0, max tow and premium package.
