Is this seatbelt thing for ‘23s too?
Currently the recall is for 21-22 escalade, ESV, suburban, tahoe, yukon and XLs. Apparently a rivet on the side for 3rd row seatbelts might be manufactured wrong and not be strong enough in the event of a crash

just boggles the mind doesn't it? maybe it's a one off and different issue than replacing/installing the vent tubes, if not...sigh

then again that's one of the reasons we specifically excluded the sunroof in our builds...

wish Dodge would revamp the Durango and make a true competitor and give "us" another option, expedition is probably the only true second option as far as size and affordability...the way the wagoneer is priced it might as well be considered a luxury brand similar to Cadillac/Lexus/Lincoln/Infiniti ...not that I'd buy it, but where's the Chevrolet equivalent of the wagoneer
I don't see people here ever mention the Land Rover Defender 130 amongst the other options that are out there. I was originally considering one but went with the Tahoe in the end for nostalgic reasons.

probably because there are only 200 of them available right now…..nationwide. There’s currently almost 3000 2022 Tahoe’s “available”.

Got a call from dealership today. Tahoe built 5/14. Been in Midlothian and dealer thinks it should ship soon. But our Tahoe is affected by the seatbelt recall☠️☠️ He said it may still get delivered to the dealership, but will have to wait for the seatbelt part to come in. Needless to say- we ordered a 2023 Z71 Tahoe. Currently they are only making LS 2023’s. I guess we will take whichever comes first. What is 3 more months of waiting anyways

only making LS 23's? IF that was true, my LS would have been built during its original TPW of 8/1, and not get bumped back six weeks to 9/12. I highly doubt that they are building only LS trim level, as there are 23's that are lt, z71, rst, premier, high country as well as ls out there on the chevy inventory from their website.. LS, LT, z71, rst and premier are the bulk of them out of the 6800 23MY tahoe's listed and are all around 1100-1500, and high country has around 300. all the ones i checked out are all saying they are in transit. I suspect your dealer is guessing as to what's going on, or likely has no allotment for a z71 trim at the moment. Either way, i hope you get yours soon. me having to wait 4.5 months to get it built is getting old, i can't imagine waiting 8 months and still not have anything, but likely won't get mine till it hits the 6 month marker at the earliest.

we ordered a Z71 on 8/2 and it was apparently immediately accepted...got the print out that Friday with it at 2000...asked last week and was told the TPW was 8/15 so I guess we'll see if they are building any Z71s currently.

He said they have put a hold on all other trims but LS. Obviously there are some that have been built. He just said right now they are only building LS’s‍♀️
