So as much as I really like my OBS Yukon, necessity is pulling rank these days and unfortunately I am gonna have to switch to something different since I'm gonna be doing a lot more driving soon - and in my line of work, I really need a pickup.

What I can't really decide is what I should ask for my OBS Yukon...
It's a '99 with just over 72,000 miles. It isn't flawless, but it is dang near. There are a couple of scratches on the outside but only noticeable if you're looking for them. I'm crazy picky about cleanliness, so everything down to the door jams have been clay bar'd and waxed.
The interior carpet has a couple of minor stains, but for the most part is dang near perfect. All the original floor mats are in it and spotless.
Not loaded, just cloth seats, rear AC, Autotrac 4wd. I've got NNBS GMC wheels on it, Magnaflow exhaust, clear corners, tinted windows, brush guard and Navigator center console.

NADA pricing suggests $6,587 as clean retail...
KBB is $5,951 in Excellent, $5,701 in Very Good Condition.

Now upon searching for OBS Yukons/Tahoes I've found quite a few with comparable & higher mileage for $8-10k, which I find hard to believe - granted they are all at stealerships.

So would asking $7,500 be out of line or is that crazy for this old of a truck?

Appreciate the input fellas!

To be honest It depends on where you live for the most part , I see price changes in different areas, a Truck that clean and with Low miles for its age like that Im sure you could get near top dollar for your location . It won't hurt for you to slap a 7500 sticker on it , But I wouldn't get your hopes up . remember people are going to talk you down so setting a higher price is advised . I say slap 7500 on it and wait a week if you hear nothing drop it a couple hundred

In my area $7,500 is steep. You have low miles so you would only really be looking for someone who loves OBS trucks.

For example, a lot of people get OBS's around here because they can get them for $2,000 or so with just under 200,000 miles and they just need an SUV to get back and forth. You can get a NBS 00-02 with 150,000 around here for $5,000-$8,000.

So asking $7,500 around here would only get you someone who really wants a clean low mileage OBS and not someone who just wants/needs an SUV or vehicle

Thanks fellas, that's kind of what I had in mind.
The $10k OBS trucks I've seen have been around here, and they've had more miles than mine generally.

As the other said, start high, you can always come down.

ON a side note, is that a stock center console?

Yea rices vary and around here that's at most a $4500 Yukon. On private market. Dealer probably $5500 I can get a clean one for under 2k at the dealer auction and flip but problem is at those prices it's gonna stay for a long time. He'll my old 96 stayed for a long time and I was only askin $2500 sold it for 2300

I got my 1996 4 door LT 4WD two years ago with 107,000 miles on it for $5995. Granted it was a dealership, but it was solid, one big rust spot I took care of right away, very clean interior, and like new tires. I live in NE Indiana, and forthe most part that was par for the course for a truck like mine. You'd be close to right on to maybe a little low in my area. THe operative words being in my area there. BEst of luck however though.

Paid 2500$ for mine, needed work, 142k. 1000$ for brakes and new firestones.

If its rust free i dont see why a 5-7500 price tag isnt reasonable...
