my wife has a 100 and 500 and 1000 mark for anything I'm doing and wasn't ball parks. and if i don't need it she usually wants something also. I'm so glad i have a family friend that owns a very nice Jewelry store that i can pay cost at.. and this connection has saved my ass a number of times.

Wife does want me to Carbon fiber wrap the dash and some interior elements of her element.

Everytime my gf asks me how much a mod cost I just tell her $100. She doesn't have a clue about modding. Still to this day she thinks my entire stereo system cost $100 with sub, amp, headunit, box and back up camera. I didn't think she'd fall for that one but she did LOL. I like the third brake light. Looks great. I need to do that mod.

I've tried the lower price trick but it fails everytime :(

Give her some excuse u need to take it to work then....BAM...2" rear drop. Then next time (a few months later) do the same thing but then....BAM...demolded..... :) she'll be oblivious to the subtle differences especially if u do them in small stages

Can't demold bc A) I like the chrome trim and B) there are holes that the molding inserts into so can't really demold esky's.

Now the 2" rear drop idea is interesting...

LOL, that means she knows too much. I put chrome caps on my mirrors (yeah I know I'm not proud of it but it'll do until I can afford esky mirrors which I'll tell her cost $100 too) and a volt meter in my truck and she didn't notice either. She only notices when she sees me do it at home. I popped my hood to show her I installed the new batteries with the Big 3. Theres huge red and black wires running everywhere and she's like, what did you change?
