So im installing 2" drop spindles from tony and im running stock 17" wheels, the kit comes with a thinner nut for the lower ball joint but i cannot get these nuts on the treaded stud of the joint without it binding up and screwing up the threads .... Ball joints are new from napa. Could the napa balll joint threads be a different pitch ? I havent been able to compare threads between the stock joints i took out with the new ones but was wondering what u guys thought about me just taking a grinder to the nuts supplied with the new joint ???? Basically all i need is to remove the castle part of the nut for adequate clearance and I should be clear to pimp my ride down main street this weekend.
