So I've been dealing with this all day, was goin down the freeway and heard some rattling, but it was the valves clattering, pulled over checked, nothing wrong then the ses light came on. Drove to autozone, I couldn't get above 1500 rpm because the valves will clatter real loud, so autozone pulled the codes, it was showing misfire cyl 4. So I replaced cap, rotor, wires, plugs, and coil, NOTHIN!! finally got it home, had to drive 40 miles @35 miles an hour. I stopped again at autozone just to see if any other codes came up, the p0304 code went away and it pulled p0300 instead. I pulled the plug on cylinder 4 and it was dry, then started it with the plug out and no gas came out and no change in how it was running so I'm pretty sure the spider injector is gone, right? I mean that's the only thing I can think of?? Help please!!!????

So I've found single injectors, and since I know cylinder 4 is misfiring and basically not working I can just change that one for now, I know I need to change the whole thing but I just can't afford it at the moment, just need it to get me through for a few weeks, has anyone else replaced just one? And if so how is it working and how hard was it to change out the one injector??

Well blown head gasket is the case that they gave me... Lol #4 & #6 are both without compression. Good thing is I didn't spend $300 on a spider unnecessarily, and it really doesn't cost much to fix, since I'll be doing the work. Once I get back from vacation I'll tear it down and send both heads to get checked and or fixed. Best part is there is no water in the oil or oil in the water. Also surprisingly after taking off the valve cover it is very very clean, no cakking, no sludge! They look like almost new! There is no evidence anywhere that the motor or heads have ever been out of it aside from newer valve cover gaskets. So thanks for all the help guys!
