Got rid of the multiple misfire and only got the cylinder 4 misfire now but in scanner it's showing ol fault when you go in to deeper info on scanner. Still haven't tried switching injectors yet. going to today. Saw some where about collapsed lifter online. If I do have a afm lifer collapsed wouldn't it make a tapping sound?

Im debating on buying a better scanner but can't afford the $250 for tech2 and Seeing mixed reviews on the Bluetooth option. I've got two scanners now that say all the same things just don't have the help fix options

If the lifter is collapsed, stuck in the AFM mode, it will won't make contact with the cam at all so you would not necessarily hear a tapping sound.

Finally got the compression tester out and hardly have any compression on cylinder 4 which is a afm cylinder. Is it possible that lifter is stuck open causing valve to not close all the way?

Yep but would check to make sure you don’t have something else like a broken spring as a collapsed lifter would not open the valve but a bad valve spring would not close it.

Could possibly be a burnt valve as well.
