Submitted my rebate today...

AutoZone oil change special = one 5 quart jug of Mobil 1 extended performance (15k mile) oil and a Mobil 1 extended performance oil filter for $34.99

Times 2 because I have a dual remote mount oil filter setup running the big M1-301A filters and the truck holds 8 quarts with the oil cooler I added.

Equals $34.99 x 2 = $69.98

Mobil 1 Rebate = $17.00 limit 2 = $34.00

So to conclude $69.98 - $34.00 = $35.98

$35.98 for 10 quarts Mobil 1 extended performance full synthetic oil and 2 big extended performance filters. Not a bad deal IMO.

They also have a deal going to get a "gym" duffle bag with your favorite NBA team logo on it for free with the purchase of 5 quarts.

I am not a sports fan, because I'm a gearhead, so I opted for the "Detroit Pistons" logo on the bag.

I figure GM is based in Detroit and Pistons are obviously auto related so why not... lol

Their site says the bag has a suggested retail value of $16.00

SOOOO....

$35.98 - $16.00 = $19.98... LOL

I also got a couple bottles of Mobil 1 synthetic 75W90 for the rear end. Now I just need to get my son in gear to get it done.
