Ok, I gotta ask, how the hell do you get to the left screw under the passenger side when you have a center console? I spent about 20 minutes and was able to turn it 2.5 turns maybe, now I can’t get a socket on it at all
Just twist it out of the way or use a smaller screwdriver with smaller hands, I paid my kids to do that one!
don't try to remove the front console unless you have done it before. There are hidden screws that you will never find and if you pull on the sides you might break it like I did.Ok, I gotta ask, how the hell do you get to the left screw under the passenger side when you have a center console? I had the same issue the first time I removed it. Your talking about the long heater cover on the passenger side.aaaaah, my kids are 2 and under....I need to find someone to help with that then. I will say this, I will not be putting that screw back in its place, the other two hold it up more than enough.

It looks like removing the console wouldn't really even help all that much. My problem is my hands are too big to fit in the location needed to put the socket on the screw. Plus there's a steel frame for the console that's still in the way once I get the plastic bits pulled off. What ever you do don't try to remove that front console under the radio unless you have done it before. Exactly. You go through all that work just to find out it really did not even help much.It looks like removing the console wouldn't really even help all that much.
