Hi folks, been lurking about for some time now. Bought a 2017 XL back in April of last year, 144k miles with excellent past history, newer 6L80E with the cooler t-stat.
Truck is mostly stock, with the addition of Corsa cat back exhaust and a Diablosport Trinity 2 EX with a custom tune by Lew.
I don't drive it a ton, but that being said am going to be doing a DOD delete here in month or two once the weather warms up a bit.

At first I was thinking the heck with it, gonna supercharge it and go for broke, but at the end of the day not sure I want to end up spending another 10k by the time it's done A to Z.
So.....at this point I'm looking for some things I can do that might maybe give me an extra 30 or 40hp, if possible.
I'm thinking an L86 intake swap for starters, but can anyone give me some suggestions on a cam? I don't want to swap the TC, so that does limit me a little bit.
Texas Speed or BTR, say like a stage 1?
Would some aftermarket heads be in order?
Any advice appreciated. I do intend to take to a tuner for a dyno pull and tune once she's all back together.

I don't mind spending a little coin on this as I intend to keep it for some time since it's in near mint condition, that said the sky is not the limit.

I got the Truck Norris NSR cam in mine. Runs good but idles badly. I must take back to tuner to fix that. New water pump, starter and hoses. No head work (just valve guides/seals) .

Pics of the truck, please.

You are already receiving sage advice from the knowledgeable folks on this Forum.

I suggest that you call Texas Speed or Summit Racing and give them your requirements and budget, and let them make you a proposal on a kit tailored to your needs.
