24" don't ride bad. It's the tire choice that rides bad. My wife has 24s on her lowered Burban and hauls the kids all the time. We tow, take road trips, pack it full, no problems. Rides awesome. She has 305/35/24 on a 24x10.5 in back and 285/35/24 on a 24x9.5" in front.

what brand tires?

I would say get something easy to clean like ck375's. I have the KMC D2 677 in 22" and man they are a royal pita to clean. But those are the only wheels me and my wife both liked, then we saw the Ck375 :emotions122:. I run 22" because i wanted a sportier look, IMO i feel 22" looks a little sportier than 24". Sorry no sig but have lots of pictures in my album.

Right and you have top notch 3 piece rims and top of the line tires... so yea if you got a fat wallet and unlimited funds you can make it ride good :) oh and the issue I had with my brakes is irrelevant too since you have a BBK :) you lucky SOB!

You have a very nice looking SUV! I like it a lot! Like you said 24's is a personal opinion. Seems like its just one of those things you have to try it for yourself to really know. I think because my wife will drive this more than I will as I have a Lifted Avalanche, the small tire that will be put on the 24's she will probably scratch the heck out of the wheels because well, I love her and bless her heart but she does hit those curbs and I am not sure if those 305/35/24 will be enough tire on there. I had an infinit Q45 with some 19's and a small tire and she drove it, got a flat and had no clue she was rolling on a flat tire. When she got home she mentioned the car was a bit bumpy and I went outside to look and the tire was cut all up. Lucky she did not scratch the wheel so it must have just happened. Maybe 22's will be better....

So you did not like your kmc slide wheels? I have not seen anyone around where I live use them. I have seen some youtube videos of them rolling and man do they look sweet!! I had one test fitted the other day and I will say that it made my jaw drop on how much better it looked compared to my stocks....

Thanks. I actually sold my Tahoe and got the Escalade as I was moving from LA to CO and wanted an AWD vehicle (my tahoe was 2wd). Yea the 305/35/24 is a small sidewall and you will definitely curb the shit out of them if you let your wife drive lol. You will love the ride on the factory 22's. I had the factory 20's on the tahoe and when I went up to GM 22's you couldn't even tell a difference in ride quality.

I LOVED how the KMC Slide wheels looked. It's such a clean simple looking wheel. It looked a lot bigger then most 24's because there is no lip on the wheel (the lip makes rims look a lot smaller than they really are). I just didn't LOVE the way they rode. I had them on some Falken Ziex STZ04 tires which aren't cheap so it's not like I had a ****** tire on them... I also had AutoRide on my tahoe and that helped but I could still tell a huge difference in ride quality from the factory 20's -> aftermarket 24's. Whereas the factory 22's I couldn't tell any difference at all.

What he ^ said.

Also keep in mind that 24s tax your steering and brakes more, along with the fender gap issue without a drop.
